Interpreting our vision
We do not believe in pure charity, except for catastrophes, but we believe in helping people help themselves. Our support of the poor in Africa and Asia is therefore based on business principles, so that they, themselves, can work their way out of poverty. We focus on three main areas, which we consider to be both the most important areas and the most effective to focus on to achieve our vision.
Tree Planting
The African desert is spreading south at a speed of about 600 meters per year. If enough trees are not planted on the boundary of the desert over the next 20–30 years, there will not be enough arable land available for farmers. In addition to preventing the desert from spreading further, massive tree planting also helps prevent global warming, which we consider to be the biggest problem, facing the world.
Better Globe’s goal is to plant one tree for every living person on this globe
Microfinance to poor farmers
Eighty percent of the population of Africa is made up of poor farmers, and most of them live on less than $1 per day. If we are going to win the fight poverty in Africa, we need to enable poor farmers to get loans to help maximize their chances of getting a good profit from their farms.
Our goal is to give hundreds of thousands poor farmer families microfinance in Africa
Education
If children in Africa do not have the opportunity to get free education, poverty can never be eradicated. We also know that poverty and corruption go hand in hand with each other as they thrive on each other. We teach children and youth the importance of integrity so that corruption can be fought. Child Africa therefore donates their magazine “Bingwa” (means Champion) and our Chairman’s book Put “Integrity First” to students and schools and universities in African countries.

It is not a question of “if” but a question of “when”
The way we work and our goals, combined with what we offer our customers, imply certain self-confidence in achieving our first goal, and then the other will automatically be met as well.
Our tree donation system includes support for our goal through microfinance and education. When we have achieved our tree planting goal, we will automatically have built more schools, tackled poverty and offered more microfinance to poor farmers than any other organization has ever done before
We are aware that our vision has big goals. We know we need many people who are committed to our cause.
We also know that these issues affect either directly or indirectly almost all people on earth. This knowledge also makes us feel confident that we will achieve our goals. Together, man can overcome everything—we just need to cooperate.
